Studio 33 is a two-hall industrial studio with the open floor area, high roof structure and contrasting finishes needed to build several looks under one roof. White-painted timber trusses cross above weathered brick and concrete floors, while freestanding white partitions create clean shooting surfaces without erasing the building’s warehouse character. The connected layout supports long sightlines, wide frames and practical separation between an active set and crew support.

Two-Hall Industrial Studio

The approximately 51-by-30-foot rear studio and 45-by-43-foot front studio are substantial, open rooms beneath pitched roofs. Columns are widely spaced, leaving clear floor runs for camera movement, freestanding scenery and wide compositions. Open trusses keep the ceiling volume in frame, while exposed ductwork and track fixtures reinforce the converted-warehouse reading. The material condition is useful on camera. Painted brick has areas of wear and exposed red masonry, and the polished concrete carries joints, tonal variation and a repaired patch near the tall dark metal doors. Against that texture, the white partition walls provide an immediate neutral reverse. Cleared of furnishings, the rear hall plays convincingly as an industrial gallery. Broad openings between zones also allow layered views from one studio into the next.

Skylight Photography Options

Both studio halls receive strong, high-angle natural light from multiple rectangular rooflights. In the front room, frosted double doors add a broad lateral glow from the street side without introducing a detailed exterior view. The white roof deck and painted trusses bounce that daylight through the upper volume, while the brick walls retain more contrast and texture. Schedule expansive daylight coverage around the middle of the day, when the overhead source is strongest. As it falls, tighter setups can move against the long partition walls or into the black-walled corridor, where crew lighting has a more controlled base. The open front studio is available for commercial shoots, still photography and events; its uninterrupted white wall gives the camera ample setback for clean, full-width compositions.

Production Access and Support Spaces

The black-painted gabled facade gives Studio 33 a restrained warehouse exterior, with roller doors and industrial lamps providing additional street-facing angles. A frosted-glass front opening measures 88 inches wide by 108 inches high and leads directly toward the main floor. At the opposite side, a broad alley opening creates another route into the building. A central service core connects the two studios. Its approximately 28-by-13-foot foyer can hold check-in, wardrobe racks or a compact holding setup, and a sliding wood barn door adds a warmer insert against the otherwise industrial palette. Nearby, a dedicated dressing and backstage room sits beside multiple restrooms. The adjoining black corridor is finished with globe pendants and tall arched mirrors, giving it a distinctly darker look than the stages. Crews can base support activity in the central rooms while keeping either large studio clear for shooting.
