Modern 234 brings glass, steel, roof light and polished metal to open Malibu grounds. As an event venue, the property feels part futuristic residence and part private technology campus, with interiors that connect to terraces, lawn, pool and the wider landscape. That balance of architectural drama and usable flow makes it well suited to product launches, corporate receptions and private dinners.

Double-Height Main Salon

The main salon is the property’s central gathering space: a double-height room framed by exposed steel trusses, polished concrete flooring and a tall grid of glass that rises almost to the pitched roof. White sofas and armchairs sit as open islands, while a stainless-clad cylindrical core adds a reflective architectural anchor. Daylight enters from opposing glass walls, broad roof lights and frosted clerestory panels, with the black kitchen and the areas behind the metal core offering a darker counterpoint.

Graphic Kitchen and Dining Area

Glossy black cabinetry, a broad island and full-height metal appliances sit beneath the stainless mezzanine edge, giving the pale stone floor strong contrast. Because the kitchen opens back toward the glazed living area, time at the counter still feels connected to the main room. Nearby, the white pedestal dining table, ribbed metal wall and oversized spherical pendant create a compact retro-futurist setting for dinner or a quieter moment within a larger celebration.

Pool Lawn, Terraces and Open Grounds

Outside, Modern 234 shifts to a low industrial Malibu profile with pale metal panels, broad paved terraces, horizontal railings and stepped approaches. The long rectangular pool sits flush within the large lawn, with open grass on both sides and the mountains beyond. Mature trees shade the edges without blocking the horizon, while the broad paved forecourt, stepped main entrance, furnished terrace seating areas, open fields and helipad broaden the setting. From the pool lawn or outer terrace, sunset keeps the ridgelines open behind the architecture.
