Mansion 83 is a Malibu event venue where English Revival formality meets relaxed coastal landscaping. An ivy-covered stone facade, steep front gables, expansive interiors and terraced grounds descending toward ocean views give gatherings a composed yet inviting setting. It works especially well when a corporate reception needs a strong sense of arrival, when a private celebration is meant to flow into the gardens, or when a product launch benefits from formal architecture softened by ocean-facing terraces.

An Arrival Framed in Stone and Ivy

The main approach sets the tone at full scale: a broad arrival court and irregular stone forecourt face the symmetrical entry elevation, where mature ivy frames a paneled wood door and small stained-glass lunette. The connected garage wing, with steep dormers, three dark wood doors and rough stone facing, reinforces the feel of a European country residence. At the rear, lawn terraces, stone retaining walls, steps and planted borders create a layered outdoor approach to the tall gabled elevation and large arched window.

Double-Height Interiors for Gatherings

Inside, rustic stonework continues through expansive living areas. The principal living room pairs double-height volume with a massive river-rock fireplace, slate flooring, white upholstered seating, a grand piano, open side rooms, an upper gallery, a timber rail and a large arched window. Natural light enters strongly through the ocean-facing glazing and spreads across the pale walls and stone floor, while the vaulted stone pavilion adds open floor area, exposed timber trusses and repeated French doors. A white kitchen with stone flooring, recessed ceiling light, an island, range and breakfast area offers another bright interior setting.

Ocean Terraces, Gardens and Poolside Setting

A pergola-covered ocean terrace extends directly from the house, furnished with wicker seating and framed by vines. Below it, the grounds break into usable levels: a clipped hedge encloses the putting green, circular stone paths cross the garden, and an arbor creates a shaded approach to the traditional pool. The long rectangular pool has a stone surround, an attached round spa, a raised water feature and space for loungers along one side. Elsewhere, a curtained timber dining arbor offers an intimate garden retreat within the wider Malibu grounds.
