Mansion 83 is an English Revival house with an ivy-covered stone facade, steep front gables and a broad arrival court. Inside, rustic stonework continues through expansive living areas, while the terraced grounds descend toward ocean views, a putting green and a traditional pool. The contrast between formal architecture and relaxed Malibu landscaping gives crews several distinct looks within one property. It is available for location work.

English Revival Facades And Arrival

The main approach establishes the house at full scale. An irregular stone forecourt provides a clean frontal view of the symmetrical entry elevation, where mature ivy frames a paneled wood door and small stained-glass lunette. A connected garage wing has steep dormers, three dark wood doors and the same rough stone facing, allowing it to read as part of a European country residence. At the rear, a long central path climbs through lawn terraces to a tall gabled elevation with a large arched window. Stone retaining walls, steps and planted borders create depth for wide establishing shots. Side passages add tighter options: one follows rounded river-rock walls, while another passes through a weathered timber gate set into stone. These routes let cameras move from enclosed garden details into broader views of the house.

Stone Interiors And Natural Light

The principal living room has double-height volume, a massive river-rock fireplace and slate flooring. White upholstered seating keeps the foreground neutral, while a grand piano and open side rooms give the frame domestic scale. An upper gallery, timber rail and large arched window add vertical sightlines. The double-height great room gives film a substantial family-residence set, while the vaulted stone pavilion supports still photography with open floor area and repeated French doors. Natural light enters the living room strongly through the ocean-facing glazing and spreads across the pale walls and stone floor. The pavilion receives broad light from French doors on multiple sides, with exposed timber trusses remaining clear overhead. Crews can schedule wide daylight setups in these rooms while the sun reaches the glazing, then move to the softly filtered garden-side bedrooms or covered pergolas as direct light shifts. The white kitchen offers another controlled interior, with recessed ceiling light, stone flooring and an island that leaves workable shooting angles toward the range and breakfast area.

Shoot Access And Terraced Grounds

A pergola-covered ocean terrace extends directly from the house, furnished with wicker seating and framed by vines. Below it, the grounds break into usable levels rather than one uninterrupted slope. A clipped hedge encloses the putting green, circular stone paths cross the garden, and an arbor creates a shaded approach to the pool. The long rectangular pool has a stone surround, an attached round spa, a raised water feature and space for loungers along one side. Elsewhere, a curtained timber dining arbor can play as an intimate garden retreat. Crews can arrive at this Malibu house by the uphill driveway and use the broad forecourt for unloading while coordinating filming permits with the Malibu film permit office. The garage interior supplies an additional enclosed setup area with a high white ceiling, open floor space and a carpeted stair to an upper room. For exterior coverage, the central lawn axis and elevated ocean terraces provide the clearest long sightlines.
