SKYstudio® Events: 30th Floor Event Venue Above Downtown Los Angeles

Downtown Los Angeles

Image Events

Set on the 30th floor of the historic AT&T building, SKYstudio® Events is a Downtown Los Angeles event venue where open volume meets a 300-degree outlook across the city and toward the mountains. Wraparound gridded windows, tall white columns, exposed overhead structure and simple finishes create a polished industrial setting well suited to a corporate event with presentation focus, a product launch shaped around skyline atmosphere or a private celebration with reception-style flow.

A Flexible Penthouse Footprint

The event venue is split between a 4,400-square-foot south penthouse and a 3,500-square-foot north penthouse. The south space stands on its own or combines with the north for a larger footprint. High exposed ceilings, broad concrete floors and generous spacing between columns keep the interior open, while white-painted beams and visible services preserve a clean, polished industrial character.

Skyline Light From Multiple Sides

Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap multiple sides of the space, so daylight moves through the main floor in a visible way. The window grid casts long geometric shadows across polished concrete, with western exposure becoming especially strong late in the day as warm sun and sky color come through the glass. Other angles hold cooler city light, with skyline, mountain and distant horizon views; at night, colored architectural lighting and overhead truss lighting can shift the mood as the illuminated city becomes the backdrop.

Presentation, Dining and Reception Flow

The open plan supports seated rows, dining layouts, lounge groupings or a clear central aisle. Open reception-style layouts work naturally here, and the north penthouse adds an integrated audiovisual system and a 20-by-20-foot projection screen for presentations or projected content. A side gallery connects the main floor to a curved white bar and curtained service zone, giving gatherings a secondary area while the larger room remains open.

City View Deck and Practical Support

The City View Deck adds an open-air perspective on the surrounding towers and skyline. Climate control and Wi-Fi support longer event days, while security and janitorial staffing help operations run smoothly. An on-call building engineer can assist with building systems.
