Retro 21 brings a polished mid-century point of view to an event venue in Beverly Hills, with low rooflines, wide glass walls and a natural flow from the interiors to the garden and pool. The setting feels suited to a corporate gathering, a private celebration or a product launch that benefits from a polished residential setting and a clear indoor-outdoor rhythm.

Curved Glass Living Room

The living room is the heart of the house, defined by a long arc of floor-to-ceiling glass facing the pool. Glossy white floors, vertical wood paneling and palms outside give the room a strong mid-century character, while a black grand piano against the wood-paneled end wall creates an immediate focal point. Low gray seating, spare lounge chairs and neutral rugs keep the floor plan open, with brighter light from the pool side and a deeper seating area at the opposite end for a moodier feel.

Dining, Kitchen and Courtyard Connections

The dining area carries the same open feeling in a quieter way. Sliding glass doors look out to the paved courtyard, and sightlines can run from the dining table back toward the curved living room, adding depth to the space. A dark sculptural table, white walls and a built-in wood cabinet with a warm stone surface keep the area clean and contemporary while still belonging to the mid-century shell. The kitchen is broad and centered by a white waterfall island, with dark wood cabinetry, glossy white cupboards, a stainless-steel range and hood, gray backsplash and tall paneled refrigeration.

Pool and Courtyard Atmosphere

The back of the house centers on a freeform pool surrounded by red brick paving, lawn, hedges and mature tropical planting. A low natural-stone retaining wall lifts the curved glass facade just above the water, keeping the pool, garden and living room closely connected. The courtyard offers a distinct outdoor atmosphere, with gray rectangular pavers, white curved walls, drought-tolerant planting and a long dark water feature. A covered lounge runs along one side, giving this area a sharper modern tone than the pool area.
