Modern 417: Skyline Event Venue in West Hollywood

Los Angeles - WH

Image Events

Modern 417 is a contemporary event venue set high above West Hollywood, where rounded rooflines, warm wood, clean stucco volumes and wide glass openings look out to skyline, mountain and city views. Corporate receptions can use the indoor-outdoor flow, product launches can lean into the polished architecture, and private dinners can center on the glass-wrapped dining room and terrace.

Curved Contemporary Arrival

From the sloped driveway, white and gray stucco wraps around cylindrical wood-clad forms, with deep overhangs and curved roof edges that soften the modern profile. The recessed entry, palms, tropical planting and horizontal window in the wood facade create a textured arrival, while the rear of the house opens to curved glass, broad sliders and pale stone terraces facing the hillside and Los Angeles view.

Open-Plan Interior Gathering Spaces

The chef's kitchen, lounges, dining room and terrace relate visually through high white ceilings and long sightlines, helping a gathering move naturally between conversation, dining and the view. One lounge brings dark wood floors, a tall fireplace wall and a branching pendant installation; another sits by a darker textured chimney breast with lower seating and the kitchen behind it. The kitchen includes a large white island, five teal stools, a suspended stainless hood and a wall of dark cabinetry with built-in appliances.

Pool, Lawn and View Terraces

The infinity pool runs along the exposed edge with dark water, a raised spa and a spill wall dropping toward the landscaped slope. Between the house and pool, the rectangular lawn adds openness to the rear elevation, and the terraces provide several distinct outdoor areas: the covered dining area by the outdoor counter, lounge seating along the glass walls and the fire bowl set among large-format pavers with narrow grass joints. Glass guards keep the mountain and city sightlines open.

Light, Shade and Easy Connections

Large openings connect the open-plan interior, dining room, lawn and pool deck with very little interruption. Daylight is strongest through the city-facing glass in the dining room and perimeter lounges; as the sun shifts, the deep roof canopy and covered terrace create softer shade, while the kitchen remains farther inside under recessed fixtures. Access comes from the sloped driveway through the recessed front entry.
