Outside, the gardens climb and drop with the hill, moving from a broad lawn to planted slopes, brick-edged steps, stone terraces, shaded gazebos, and a furnished deck. The traditional geometric pool sits in its own setting with timber decking and room around it for furniture. For guests, the grounds shift from ornate garden courts to quieter tucked-away pockets, including an ivy-lined alcove with carved seating, a stone wishing well in its own paved court, a white Buddha fountain against dense greenery, rock grottoes, a narrow waterfall, sculptural figures, and a decorated yurt.

Inside, the house has a warm, collected Old Hollywood feeling. The main living and dining area is broad and grounded, with residential-height ceilings, dark wood floors, and a long run of garden-facing arched doors that keep the rooms connected to the balcony and trees. Persian-style rugs, carved chairs, mirrored dark paneling, and decorative chandeliers bring texture to a reception setting without separating it from the canyon atmosphere. Natural light comes from the garden side through the three arched glazed doors, with additional light near the pale sectional and softer, steadier levels in the skylit dark-paneled den and covered patios. The kitchen includes black cabinetry, a central island, stainless refrigeration, and more arched doors.

A wide estate drive runs through mature landscaping to a large, level dirt clearing, and exterior paths tie together the driveway, main courtyard, terraces, lawn, and pool. The main courtyard brings a patterned mosaic surface together with the two-story stucco elevation, pergola posts, and iron balcony rails. From higher paths, the estate looks across wooded canyon slopes, scattered hillside homes, and tall palms, while brick-and-stone gateways and the long central staircase shape a clear sense of arrival.
