English 8 is a three-story English house and event venue in Bel Air, with classic Tudor Revival character opening to formal indoor and outdoor settings. The property is well suited to a corporate event, private party or product launch that can use a vaulted ballroom, a formal fountain court, broad terraces and a terraced pool area within the same property.

Tudor Revival Character and a Bright Ballroom

The exterior sets a classic Tudor Revival tone with cream stucco, dark applied timbering, leaded panes, projecting bays and steep gables. At the center of the house, the ballroom has a high pitched ceiling with exposed white trusses, polished cherry wood floors, multipane windows, French doors on both sides and a simple fireplace at one end. It is the brightest room in the house, with daylight crossing through the windows and doors.

Formal Fountain Court and Garden Structure

The formal garden is built around a large raised fountain pool, with a tiered central fountain and small water figures inside a geometric basin. Freestanding classical columns frame the space, while the lawn, dense trees and clipped hedges keep the setting contained. Along one side, the columned arbor adds a second axis, with a weathered overhead lattice above a tiled walk.

Terraces, Pool Area and Outdoor Kitchen

Broad stone levels step down through balustraded stairs to a modern angular pool with an inset spa. Elevated decks and doors at several levels connect the terraces back to the house, and another tiled terrace holds the outdoor kitchen with built-in grills, sinks, counters and a circular serving or fire feature.

Additional Interior and Courtyard Areas

French doors open several interiors directly to hard-surfaced exterior areas, and the largely unfurnished rooms leave wall space and floor area within the house. Additional interiors include the central entry hall with lower ceilings and light from the glazed front door and adjoining rooms, a long galley kitchen, a dark-paneled media wall, fireplaces, wood stairs and empty bedrooms with sloping ceilings. Outside, the circulation includes a broad paved forecourt, a separate paved courtyard between two half-timbered wings and narrow covered exterior stairs.
